We have a historic opportunity to bolster endangered species protections in the U.S.
The Senate is now considering a bill, the Endangered Species Recovery Act of 2007, that would provide significant new tax incentives to encourage ranchers, farmers and private landowners to help the recovery of endangered species on their land.
This is the best chance in many years to promote constructive new policies to protect endangered wildlife. It's a win-win approach that rewards landowners for protecting species and it is supported by both environmentalists and landowner groups.
Send an email to your Senators urging them to support passage of S. 700, the Endangered Species Recovery Act.
