One of the most successful conservation programs in the U.S. is at risk. The USDA is considering the release of 24 million acres of land from the Conservation Reserve Program for commercial use.
The penalty-free release of this land would deal a devastating blow to our water, soil, habitat and efforts to stop global warming. It would be the equivalent of having 11 million more cars on our roads...each year.
